Rob Wienand

Rob Wienand holds a Master’s Degree in Project and Programme Management from the University of Limerick.  He also holds a BSc in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a certified Project Management Professional.

He has over 35 years’ experience in the Mining Industry, including mining operations management and project management in Africa, Europe, Asia and South America.  He has been working at Dundee Precious Metals for over 10 years at their operations in the Bulgaria and in Namibia in the role of Projects Director developing project from their study phases though to commissioning and handover.

In June 2019 he was appointed to lead up the Timok Gold Project activities in Eastern Serbia, overseeing the project study development, permitting and stakeholder engagement activities.
