Mirjana Doncic Beaton

Ms. Dončić-Beaton since 2014 holds the position of Managing Director of CANSEE Canadian Serbian Business Association, an important partner in promoting business relations between Canada and the region of South East Europe. Business, academic, and administrative expertise all come together to promote and enable best practices for benefit of both sides via CANSEE. 

Most recent prior appointments include Sr. Coordinator of Sales & Coopertion with Foreign Investors on behalf of Government of Serbia on the project of the national importance – Development of mountain tourisam resort “Stara planina” with well know Austrian hotel operator “Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group AG” and Head of Unit for International Financial Relations, Ministry of Finance, Republic of Serbia on negotiating, signing and due diligence on implementation and completion of the World Bank, EIB, EBRD loans of national significance for the national reforms of Serbian public system.

Other posts include member of the Government of Canada Public Service, serving Royal Canadian Mountain Police, IPOC Department on projects of the national importance and priority and four years involvement at one of the Canada top three ranked banks – T.D. Financial Group handling business portfolio of 100 business members and their related financial accounts.

Ms. Dončić-Beaton holds a bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and has an international career in business and finance industry spanning 20 years. Ms. Dončić-Beaton is married and has two children.
