Branislav Grbović is the Regional Director for Southern Europe (SE) and one of the most experienced project directors at Wood (former Amec Foster Wheeler and GRD Minproc) - the major international engineering group of 55,000 people.
Branislav is Belgrade born and completed his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at the University of Belgrade. He had his specialization at the Pennsylvania State University in USA.
His professional career started at the Mining Institute in Belgrade-Zemun for over 10 years, before moving internationally to manage major international projects and studies on all continents, in countries such as: Australia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Namibia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, India, Myanmar, PNG etc.
Branislav expertise includes the design and project management for minerals processing plants in most materials, including copper, gold, iron ore, coal, uranium, lithium and alumina; raw material handling systems; air pollution control systems and equipment; tailponds and fly-ash disposals.
Branislav’s technical and managerial skills are very much supplemented with his business development work. He was member of Wood’s team that established office in South Africa in mid-2000. Also, he was instrumental in establishing and managing Wood’s business in the Balkan region over past 15 years.
